We’re looking for ambitious people who want to learn, grow and innovate to create a better shared future.
Our global scale, which will cover all countries and regions, brings unique opportunities across the world for our people. Our Purpose – Shaping a better new world – guides us in all we do and Our Values influence the way we work together and the choices we make.
We’ve embraced hybrid working across our teams, providing flexibility around where, when and how work gets done.
There are many benefits, including improved wellbeing for employees, a more inclusive work environment and a reduction in our carbon footprint.
As an employee at AAGH you will receive a wide range of support to help you improve your skills and achieve your career goals.
At AAGH we recognize that the talent and diversity of our people is the foundation of our success, so we are committed to helping you develop your personal and professional skills in order to bring out your strengths.
Your manager will work with you to set clear career development goals
Your manager will help you to identify potential opportunities and the capabilities you will need to be effective in your role. As part of the AAGH performance review process, they will work with you to set clear career development goals and provide feedback and support to assist you in achieving them. At the same time, you will be encouraged to take responsibility for driving your own personal development.
From AAGH University, you will be able to access a comprehensive set of tools and learning materials based on your specific role and business area, as well as courses that help you develop communication, leadership and presentation skills. You will be expected to complete some learning activities based on local regulatory requirements or the nature of your role, but you can also choose courses that are linked to your own interests or support your personal development.
You will have access to a mixture of formal and informal development opportunities, including on-the-job coaching and mentoring in addition to instructor-led workshops and e-learning.
From the outset, you will be able to develop your own professional networks with clients and colleagues around the world. You may also have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain experience in another country through one of our international assignments, which typically range in length from three months to three years. Our International Management Program offers highly talented employees the chance to pursue an internationally mobile career in a variety of roles and locations.
At AAGH, we are looking for talented people with different experiences and ways of seeing the world. Whatever your background, we welcome your application.
We believe that being open to a range of perspectives and cultures is vital for our business. We work hard to ensure that AAGH is a diverse and inclusive workplace that reflects the communities we serve. We want everyone to achieve their potential – regardless of their gender, ethnicity, disability, religion, sexual orientation, gender identification, or age.
The breadth of our business and our global reach also mean that we offer careers in a wide range of areas. We recruit people from school leavers and graduates to experienced applicants.
If you have a different way of seeing the world, we are interested in hearing from you.
Your way of working
Regular office hours aren’t for everyone. In fact, around two-thirds of our people work flexibly. We support flexible working such as part-time hours and working from home.
We also know that many people appreciate the chance to pursue other interests and ambitions alongside their career. In most countries and territories, we offer employees who have been with the Group for five years the opportunity to request a long term break. A typical long term break lasts between three and six months, of which the first two months are paid.
An Inclusive Process
To help us employ the widest possible range of candidates, we aim to provide an easy and accessible process. If you need us to adjust our recruitment process or provide additional support, please contact your recruiter.
Examples of adjustments might include the supply of materials in large print or Braille, extra time for any tests or interviews, and tailoring to support sensory impairments, neurodevelopmental differences, and physical disability. This may include providing access to specialist adaptive technologies, where available.
We also work hard to make sure that a broad range of potential applicants know about the careers opportunities we offer. To help us achieve this, we participate in careers events aimed at particular diversity groups.
Employee networks
When joining AAGH, you will have the opportunity to join our eight Employee networks. These form the foundation of our culture and are not just a way to meet new people. They provide a place to learn new skills, share advice and support, and help the Group address business challenges.
You can find out more about our commitment to diversity and inclusion, volunteering and training in the Our people and communities section of this website.
AAGH offers a comprehensive, market-competitive pay and benefits package to support employees’ professional and personal needs. This may vary according to your role and location.
AAGH’s approach to remuneration consists of four main elements:
Fixed pay, Annual leave, A range of benefits, which may cover areas such as work-life balance, insurance and savings, health and personal development, Employee share plans and discretionary pay awards based on performance
We believe that the way people achieve their goals is essential to the long-term sustainability of our business. As a result, annual performance reviews also take into account employees’ adherence to AAGH’s values.
Our approach to remuneration, including any discretionary incentive or performance-related awards, is designed to reward success appropriately and to ensure that what we pay employees is aligned with our business strategy. To achieve this, we assess individual performance against our annual and long-term financial and non-financial objectives.
As part of AAGH’s commitment to an open, supportive and inclusive working environment, we recognise that our employees have different personal circumstances and want a suitable work-life balance. We support our staff to adopt flexible and alternative ways of working where possible, including working from home and different hours.
